There's a lot more wrong with drinking carbonated beverages than most people think. It starts with increasing the CO2 levels in our bodies and then adding fructose and caffein together and in the wrong proportions. Those two additions mask the effects of the increased CO2 in the body. I see people could have initial temporary positive results but very bad longterm results. I love the taste of these drinks but know to use them in moderation.

Eczema can be a serious problem if you do not take the time to treat it. Normally I have found natural cures to be much better when treating eczema. Mainstream medicines just are not that effective for curing eczema.

Tommy, you are absolutely correct, it shows that you're an authority on the subject. I admire someone that takes the pride you have and with your projecton of information. oSo when i actually do sit down to read material, I appreciate well written and organized blogs like this one. I have it bookmarked and will be back. Thanks.

I agree that you should just find a protein powder you like and stick with it. Disregard all the hype, find what works for you. For me, that is an unflavored whey protein I found at WarriorMilk.com. They don’t seem to be very well-known, but they have a great product. I like the unflavored variety, as it makes it much easier for me to add it to most of my meals.Try to visit http://www.squidoo.com/high-protein-bars if anybody want more info.

I completely agree with you that most carbonated soft drinks have way too many calories per serving (and it usually comes from high fructose corn syrup too)

The diet carbonated soft drinks can pose a problem too with their dubious artificial sweeteners which may affect the brain in yet to be explained ways.

At the same time, I'm seeing more awareness from consumers and a shift in demand towards healthier and higher quality products. There's a few soft drink companies that use less sugar, and they use natural sugar too. vivi smart soda is something I came across and have been sharing with a few friends (the concept, I have not actually tried it yet). I really hope products like this can take some market share from the food and beverage giants that provide an outmoded product that people are becoming increasingly wary of - it's no surprise that the carbonated soft drink industry has been suffering in the last decade.

But as for making healthy choices - yeah I'd have to agree that it's best to stay away from over sugary carbonated soft drinks (which is the majority of the market). There are a few choices that offer products with fewer calories and they also have vitamins, so the calories aren't as 'empty'

Nice article.
