I am stunned by the fact that in a society as shrewd and rational as ours, that so few individuals seem to pay attention to valuable options which are readily usable to them to enhance their personal health. It seems that a bulk of people are more interested in a quick fix in the form of a doctors visit and precriptions than in managing their own health process, and doing so in a way that is natural, predictable, and sustainable. That is what makes me treasure attempts like yours to train and prompt individuals to action. I hope that through these endeavors, and others, that consciousness increases speedily and the population at large returns to a outlook of individualized wellness that doesn't rely on medical specialists and pills.

Bill, you are absolutely correct, it shows that you're an authority on the subject. I admire someone that takes the pride you have and with your projecton of information. oSo when i actually do sit down to read material, I appreciate well written and organized blogs like this one. I have it bookmarked and will be back. Thanks.

Water not only keeps you alert (especially if it is ice cold) but also raises your metabolism. Drinking more water ups your testosterone levels as well. It is the simplest and most obvious liquid to drink when you feel thirst overcoming your senses. However, don't chug-a-lug your glass of water. It is healthier to drink it in two or three draughts.

i think you shoul have at least 5 glasses of water. as long as you drink other stuff then you should be fine. but i find drinking 8 glasses per day. makes me want to go to the toliet at night. 8 is too much. and drinking too much water can damage your brain. [ no joke ] the most i would drink a day would be 7. but if your overweight then i would say drink about 8 max. and 6 min.
[ not that im being mean but overweight people need more water. then skinny people. its been scientficly proven ]

for me i dont drink water much at all... but i do eat ice cubes like 6 glasses full a day. so that kind of makes up for it. and im not werid i love ice cubes. 1. cos it cool me down. 2. cos its refreshing and 3. cos my doctor said that its normal for a person who is Anemic.

A month or two ago there were a number of reports in the media that all that hype of drinking so many glasses (8 I think is what they recommend here) of water a day was all rubbish. I think those reports are all rubbish. If I don’t have enough water (at least 1.5L-2L) throughout the day I struggle to get through it.
